Hello to all you loyal followers. Today I would like to take sometime from my busy schedule to recognize true American heroes, our troops.
Just recently I got news of a friend of mine who was critically injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq and thought it would be a good time to write about my appreciation for anyone who is serving in our armed forces. My friend is doing fine and is recovering in a hospital in Germany.
Many people in today's society idolize people such as athletes, movie stars, and music artists but I feel that the real heroes out there are the brave men and women who have taken the call to serve our great nation. On a daily basis they risk their lives so we can be safe and free. Now I know everyone does not agree with the current war in the Middle East but one thing we should not forget are the Americans fighting for our freedom. I have the utmost respect for anyone who is willing to put their life on hold in order to keep me free and safe from anyone trying to harm our great country. Today I would like you all to just take a second and if you see or know anyone who is enlisted in any of our branches of military and thank them for what they do for you. If you don't run into or know a service man or woman then thank thank their family because what they go through cannot be easy. I would like to say thank you to anyone who is currently or in the past served our country and for making me proud to be an American.

Healthcare Drama and Camp David
My fellow Americans, sorry I haven't updated you recently. I have been a bit under the weather and am finally feeling up to par. So here we go.
I've been getting a lot of crap over my recent health care proposal, especially from Mr. Joe Wilson of South Carolina. If you haven't heard or seen on YouTube by now he doesn't quite agree with my stance on socialized heath care. Well I feel that if we came up with a plan where everyone was covered by some kind of insurance our nation would not only be healthier but also our people would have more money because they wouldn't be spending it on something that the government could provide for them. Health insurance is very expensive and unfortunately not all companies can provide full coverage for their employees. I feel that if we all approach this situation with an open mind we can come to some sort of agreement where both sides are happy and in the end we will have a happier and healthier nation.
On a lighter note, I spent most of my recent time being sick at Camp David. This place is bad ass. I have my own pool there, a tennis court, and a huge entertainment room with tons of old school arcade games like Pac-Man. Unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy any of these luxuries because I was sick but when I do you will hear all about it.

The First Day
Da da da da..da da da da da da daaaaaaa....da. Ok, that's my own little rendition of the Presidential entrance song thing but hey, give me a break, I am the new President of the United States.
When I first found out that I won the election I was like "Holy shit! you gotta be kidding me. I am the new President!" Then I started to wonder if I can handle this? Did I bite off a little more than I can chew? Why in the heck did I wanna do this? Well there is nothing I can do now so I'm gonna do my best and if that doesn't work you can all fail with me....sorry.
Well enough about me..actually no, more about me because the purpose of this blog is to fill you in on my trials and tribulations as the President of the United States.
Today was my first day as president and I really didn't do much! Shook a few hands of people who I personally never met but helped my campaign either through donations or polling. I gave my inauguration speech (which I didn't write) and was sworn in as president which was pretty cool because there was a lot of famous people there like Tiger Woods, Mel Gibson and Mr. T. After my quite adventurous morning I got to see MY oval office and wasn't impressed in the least. The office I had when I was a lawyer in N.Y.C. was wayyyyy bigger and more modern but I guess the nostalgia of the whole thing was "neat". The last part of my day was awesome because I got to bowl in the bowling alley which I now own! It was rather fun and u better believe I texted all my friends and rubbed that one in. After a few games of bowilng I had one of my "staff", (I GOT MY OWN STAFF! HA SWEET!) mix me up a White Russian and then I headed to bed.
Well my fellow Americans, the time has come for your fearless leader to go. So, until next time be proud of your country and vote for me in four more years...well maybe?
